Restylane® can eliminate deep lines and folds, plump lips and leave you with smooth, wrinkle-free skin. As we age, hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in our skin, begins to diminish resulting in lost volume and the appearance of wrinkles and folds. Using sculpting techniques, Dr. Franckle can improve lost volume with Restylane®, helping to restore youthful contours to the skin.
Restylane® Treatment Areas
Restylane® is FDA approved to treat the nasolabial folds (lines from your nose to the corner of your mouth) and is the first and only FDA-approved dermal filler for lip enhancement. Restylane® may also be used to add lost volume to the cheeks or treat other wrinkles around the face. During your consultation with Dr. Franckle you can discuss the best approach for your desired results.
What to Expect at the Treatment
A Restylane® treatment takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The gel is injected into the skin with a very fine needle in tiny amounts. Results can appear instantly and can last up to 18 months.
There is no downtime associated with Restylane®. Immediately after treatment you may experience redness and tenderness around the area(s) treated. Some patients experience minimal bruising and swelling for 2-3 days after treatment. If you are someone who bruises easily, inform Dr. Franckle during your consultation or before your treatment.

Restylane® is cosmetic dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid (HA). Compared to the natural hyaluronic acid in your skin, the HA in Restylane® has been modified slightly to last longer in the body.
Restylane® contains no animal proteins. This limits any risk of animal-based disease transmission or allergic reactions. Restylane® contains trace amounts of gram-positive bacterial proteins and is contraindicated for patients with a history of allergies to such material. No allergy testing is required before use.
Combining BOTOX® Cosmetic or Dysport with Restylane can enhance your results even further. BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport treat fine lines between the eyebrows and along the forehead. Combining the two treatments into one (can be performed within the same office visit) can produce an overall healthier, natural and younger looking appearance.
