What Affects the Cost of Your Procedure?
Your total cost depends on the procedure itself, its complexity, and whether it’s combined with other treatments. The practice fee covers Dr. Franckle’s time, related office visits, and any necessary garments or implants. Anesthesia and Virtua Center for Surgery facility fees are billed separately by their respective providers. For example, breast implants in New Jersey typically run $6,500-$12,000, while a mommy makeover (which often combines a tummy tuck, breast work, and liposuction) generally runs $12,000-$17,000. Your consultation quote will reflect your specific goals, so these ranges are a starting point, not a promise.

Does Insurance Cover Cosmetic Surgery?
Generally, no. Cosmetic procedures like breast augmentation, tummy tucks, and facelifts are considered elective and aren’t covered by health insurance. Reconstructive procedures, such as breast reconstruction after mastectomy, may be covered depending on your plan and medical necessity. If you’re unsure which category your procedure falls into, our patient care concierge can help you understand your options during your consultation, and you can always confirm coverage details directly with your insurer.

Does insurance cover it?
Cosmetic procedures generally aren’t covered by insurance, since they’re elective; reconstructive procedures may be, depending on your plan. See “Does Insurance Cover Cosmetic Surgery?” above.
How do I apply?
Meet with Dr. Franckle for a consultation to get your custom quote, then work with our patient care concierge to apply for CareCredit®, Alphaeon Credit, or Cherry. Most applications take about 60 seconds and won’t affect your credit score.
Is a deposit required to schedule a procedure?
Yes, a $500 deposit is required to reserve your surgery date with William Franckle, MD, FACS. Once this deposit is made, it won’t be an additional cost but rather an advance payment. The deposit will be credited towards the overall balance of your practice fee, effectively reducing the final amount due for your surgery.
What is included in the cost of my surgery?
The cost of your surgery includes the practice fee, which covers Dr. Franckle’s time, all related office visits, any necessary garments, and implants, if applicable. Please note that anesthesia and the Virtua Center for Surgery services will be billed separately. This means that while the practice fee encompasses several essential aspects of your surgery, other costs will be billed independently by their respective providers.
Can I make payments towards my procedure before it’s performed?
Yes, you can make payments towards your procedure before it is performed. It is possible to pay down the balance leading up to the day of your pre-op appointment to manage the costs more comfortably. However, it’s important to note that the final balance of the practice fee must be fully paid by the time of your pre-operative appointment.
