A jaw implant surgery reconstructs a patient’s profile and helps to prevent sloping around the neck and ears, to further define the facial outline. For some patients, a jaw implant and chin implant may be used for optimal results.

3. Cheek Implants

Cheeks can often look flat or lack definition, throwing off the symmetrical balance of a person’s face. Commonly this happens as we age and we lose fat in our faces, but for some, recessed cheeks is a natural occurrence. Cheek implants, or a cheek augmentation, can give back a well-rounded and fuller midface look. Cheek implants can increase the projection of the cheekbones and display a more defined cheek contour, helping to redefine the facial balance.
