VOORHEES, N.J. (PRWEB) January 06, 2015
William Franckle, MD, FACS will begin offering Allergan Natrelle Silicone Gel Implants in more styles starting January 2015. The popular 410 series silicone gel breast implant, also known as the “gummy bear,” will be available in more sizes for breast augmentation and breast reconstruction for patients 22 and older.
The Natrelle 410 is specifically engineered with a gradually tapered slope designed to mirror a woman’s natural curves. With new advances in silicone gel technology, the implant is also designed to hold its shape, allowing the implant to resist rippling and stay in place. Additionally, the Natrelle 410 has seen no gel migration over seven years in ruptured implants.
“This is very good news,“ says Voorhees Plastic Surgeon Dr. William Franckle. “We have been waiting for the FDA to approve the remainder of sizes available in this style implant. Many of my patients have thought about using the gummy bear implant but were disappointed by the lack of projection or fullness offered in the available sizes.” The FDA originally approved the medium projection style 410 implants in February 2013.
The low, medium, and full height styles are now available, each with low, medium, full, or extra projection. “This is as close as you can get to a custom implant for breast augmentation. These different shapes can give a better fit and, thus, a more natural appearance for the woman interested in enhancing her breasts.”
